All Bafana Bafana CHAN players have reported for national team duty following the arrival of Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Pule Ekstein on Tuesday.

Ekstein played in the 3-2 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns in a practive match at Chloorkop earlier today.

This was the second training session of the squad, who started camp on Monday, 12 October.

Amigo Luvuyo Memela scored the two goals for the national team – in the 70th and 85th minute.

“I am very happy with the way preparations are going. This was a very productive exercise for the technical team and it gave us an indication of our starting 11 and helped us identify the 20 players that can help us win against Angola on Saturday,” said Senong.

“It was a good game overall, exactly what we needed as we had to assess and evaluate the players, and also work on different combinations. All the players got chance to play except for Gift Motupa who is nursing an ankle injury.”

The return leg against Angola is scheduled for Saturday, 24 October.

It will be played at the 11th October Stadium in Luanda.
