Kateregga, four others suspended


The Kenyan Premier League (KPL) will take a break this weekend to pave way for the GOtv Shield but when it resumed for the 25th Week of action on Friday 23 September and run until Sunday 25 September but five players will not be cleared to feature for their teams.

Ugandan forward Allan Kateregga who is on five yellow cards, will miss his team AFC Leopards’ match against Western Stima on Saturday 24 September.

Another one locked out of action is Chemelil Sugar midfielder David Ojuang who is also on five yellow cards after picking one against Gor Mahia in the last match and as so he will be out of the clash against Ulinzi Stars on Saturday in Chemelil.

Dennis Odhiambo will be out for the second of his two – match suspension after picking two red cards in the season and will be out when his team Thika United takes on Sony Sugar.

Hassan Mohamed of Ulinzi Stars will be out as well when his team takes on Chemelil Sugar as he picked a red card in his team’s 0 – 1 loss to champions Gor Mahia.

Bandari FC will miss midfielder Musa Mudde as he starts a two match – ban when the Dockers face City Stars on Saturday in Mombasa as he is on five yellow cards and a red card. He will as well be out when his team takes on Tusker in the next match.
