Rwandan midfielder Haruna Niyonzima’s contract at Tanzanian giants Yanga has been terminated over reported indiscipline.
The midfielder has not had the easiest of times at the Dar es Salaaam side and after leaving for the 2015 CECAFA Senior Challenge tournament, he rubbed the club’s management the wrong way when he failed to report back in time.
The incident occasioned a temporary suspension as the club looked into his conduct and a report that came afterwards was to terminate his deal.
A statement sent to the media by the club’s Secretary General Jonas Tiboroha confirms the player will not only be sacked but will also be fined over the incident as Yanga looks to offload him.
Niyo joined the team from Rwandese military side APR in 2011 and has been a key player for the side over the years.
