The Italian coach Massimiliano Allegri is all set for the new season at Juventus and confirmed the importance of Kwadwo Asamoah.
This confidence has made the Ghana midfielder happy to remain at the Serie A club for the new campaign.
Former coach Antonio Conte was linked with the 27-year-old for a move to Chelsea, but he wants to stay for a fifth season at Juventus instead.
“I’m happy, then if the coach said so, it means he really believes in those words. To stay here is the most important thing for me,” Asamoah told Tuttosport.
“I am ready to do my job to the best, as usual. The problem is that I have suffered for two years, and therefore I could not give to the team what I really wanted. This year, however, I started well and I hope to go on this way.”
Asamoah made just 11 Serie A appearances for Juventus last season.
