Freddie Oladotun Ladapo has completed a loan move away from Crystal Palace to Oldham Athletic, the Croydon reports.
Ladapo’s move to Oldham is believed to have been concluded and is pending announcement. He will be hoping to play regular football at Boundary park after having to bide his time at Selhurst Park.
He had been lethal at Margate and Palace, who have a good history of bringing in non-league hits, decided to hand him a chance. But the striker is yet to play a competitive game for Palace and will be hoping to catch the eye for Oldham.
He has previously spent time with Colchester United and Kidderminster Harriers.
The former Margate man was on the verge of going to the League One side at the start of August, before Alan Pardew pulled the plug due to a striker shortage.
Ladapo has since been part of the first team squad against West Bromwich Albion and Tottenham Hotspur, but was left out against AFC Bournemouth. It is now believed the 23-year-old will make the move to Boundary Park at the start of next week.
The Romford-born forward joined Palace from non-league Margate in March – after scoring a hat-trick for the club’s under-21s during a trial match against Watford.
