Kenyan international Christian Bwamy’s Norwegian club Follo FK were relegated to the Norwegian Second Division following a 2 – 2 draw in the final game of the First Division away to Jerv on Sunday 1 November.

In the game played at Levermyr Stadium, visiting Follo needed nothing short of a win and started on a bright note with two goals within the first 25 minutes netted through Robin Rasch and Didrik Sereba in the second and 25th minutes respectively.

However, a lapse in concentration saw them concede two goals in the 53rd and 90th minutes scored by Kwoeme Omoijuanfo and Glenn Brevik and in effect finished 13th on the 16 team log.

Bwamy was introduced in the second half for Sereba, making his 23rd league appearance in the season, scoring three goals and provided as many assists.

Elsewhere, Arnold Origi, plying his trade for top flight side Lillestrom played full time as his team beat Sarpsborg 3 – 1 in the last home game of the season. The match was Origi’s 29th of the season.

In Zambia, Kenyan international Jacob Keli was not among the starters for his team Nkana FC as they went on to beat Mufulira Wanderers 3 – 0 in a Zambian Super League Week 29 clash played at the Nkana Stadium on Sunday. The win saw Nkana move to eighth place on the log.

Elsewhere in Greece, Aboud Omar’s Panegialios was held to a goalless draw by Apolloni Smirnis in a Greek Football League match played at the Municipal Stadium of Aigio. Panegialios are staring at relegation having collected five points from six games.

In Tanzania, Allan Wanga was in action for 38 minutes as Azam FC spanked Vodacom Premier League newcomers Toto Africans 5 – 0 at the Azam Complex. The win saw Azam move to the summit of the log on 25 points, overtaking Yanga SC.
