Trio to miss KPL week 11 action


Three players will not be eligible to feature for their teams on the 11th week of action in the Kenyan Premier League ( KPL Week  11 ) following suspensions picked on the tenth week.

AFC Leopards defender Eugene Ambulwa will not be cleared for the team’s match against Western Stima on Wednesday 27 April at the Moi Stadium. Ambulwa is on a red card following his actions in the ill – tempered match against Ulinzi Stars on Saturday 23 April at the Mumias Sports Complex.

Posta Rangers’ midfielder Duncan Otieno will also be suspended after being sent off in his team’s match against Tusker FC on Sunday 24 April. He will thus sit out the match against Ushuru FC at the Nyayo National Stadium on Thursday 28 April.

Ugandan defender Shafik Batambuze who turns out for Tusker will be the other player suspended on the week. He is out after picking two bookings against Posta Rangers on Sunday 24 April and as a result will miss the match against league leaders Mathare United at the Machakos County Stadium on Thursday 28 April.
