Six home-based players have been retained by Samson Siasia ahead of the back-to-back Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Egypt on the 25th and 29th.
The six players will be joined by the 18 overseas-based players and will travel together to Kaduna on Tuesday, where the first leg against the Pharaohs of Egypt will hold on Friday.
The players retained are: Ikechukwu Ezenwa (Sunshine Stars); Kalu Orji and Etim Matthew (Rangers); Chibuzor Okonkwo (Ifeanyi Ubah); Ifeanyi Matthew (Kano Pillars) and Etebo Oghenekaro.
Already, Etebo and Ezenwa have arrived the Super Eagles’ Abuja camp, while the others are expected to join later today after playing for the respective clubs over the weekend in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
