Enugu Rangers have rekindled their title hopes as they continued their unbeaten run against Warri Wolves on Friday night; beating them 2-1 at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium in their Match Day 24 Nigeria Professional Football League tie.

Goals from Obinna Nwobodo in the 7th minute and  Godwin Aguda’s 39th minute goal from the penalty spot was enough to give Rangers their 11th victory of the season even though Zinte Udeh pulled one back for Warri Wolves late in the first half.

Going into the Friday night clash, many were happy with the all-female cast named by the LMC to officiate the crucial clash.

Happily, the quartet of Folusho Ajayi, Bosede Momoh, Felicia Obile and Ndidi Madu oversaw a thrilling encounter which at the end the Flying Antelopes claimed all points.

With the latest three points garnered, Rangers are now second on the log and are now closing in on table-toppers, Wikki Tourists.
