The Chelsea Ladies’ team have handed Nigerian-born England striker, Eniola Aluko a new deal.
Aluko, whose brother Sone plays for the Super Eagles and Fulham, has scored 57 goals in 125 appearances across two spells with the Blues
The new deal for Aluko is coming ahead of the big clash with Manchester City this weekend.
Aluko told Chelsea’s official website: “I’ve won trophies, which is why I came back to Chelsea.
“When Emma Hayes became the manager, I really believed this was a team that would be successful. And we have been.
“I’m continuing to learn, to grow, and I continue to be challenged every day. The coaching staff are very intelligent people who I respect.”
Aside the fruitful stint with Chelsea, Aluko has also starred for teams like Birmingham City Ladies, Charlton Athletic Ladies, Atlanta Beat and Sky Blue FC in her senior career.
