Black Stars of Ghana duo Emmanuel Agyemang Badu and Razak Brimah have exuded confidence ahead of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers following the outcome of Friday’s draws in Cairo by CAF.
The Black Stars have been drawn against Congo, Egypt and Uganda in the group E world Cup qualifiers.
And Udinese midfielder Badu says himself and other members of the Black Stars squad are ready to give their sweat and blood to secure a group stage spot for Russia 2018.
“It’s a very tricky encounter group but we are ready for everything and that is very important.
“We will give our sweat and blood to win the group and form me that is the most important thing.” The combative midfielder who remains unfazed told Accra based Citi-FM
Meahwile, the Black Stars safe hands Razak Brimah who missed the 7-3 aggregate win over the Pharaohs in the playoff contest to the 2014 finals in Brazil says Ghana are well conditioned to face Egypt, Uganda and Congo in the 218 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The Cordoba goalkeeper who has been first choice for the national team in the past two years and has garnered a lot of international football experience believes the three-time finalists are primed for another qualification to the greatest sporting event in the world.
“In football, every team is good but what I can say is that we have teamwork and good players too so we are looking to preparing to face these teams and make sure we take all the points available so that we can make it,” Brimah told GHANASoccernet.com.
Ghana will open the group with a clash with the Cranes of Uganda at home on the 10th of October 2016 before moving to play Egypt in Cairo.
