Bandari heads to Rwanda in coach hunt

Bandari Football Club Technical Director Edward Oduor has revealed that the club is looking to enlist the services of highly rated Rwandan coach, Casa Mbungo, to fill in the gap at the team.

The club sacked head coach Twahir Muhiddin at the close of the first leg of the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) season and confirms that apart from Mbungo, coaches from both local and foreign countries are being considered having shown interest in the job.

A decision may not be communicated this week though, as he stated that the club chairman, who is outside the country on official duty will be the man to make the call.

“We are speaking with Casa as we look to fill the void, but of importance to note is that he is not the only one. A number of coaches have made enquiries about the job and all are being assessed.

“The decision on the new coach will come after the chairman returns from his trip abroad,” he said.

Ken Odhiambo has been holding forte as the coach in the mean time.
