Kenyan international Michael Olunga is all but cleared and has been named in the Djurgaden squad for the upcoming Svenska Cupen (Swedish Cup) clash against Hammarby at the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm on Sunday 6 March.
Olunga signed a four year deal at the club after a stellar 2015 season with Gor Mahia and was earlier ineligible due to a lack of work and residential permits which forced him to miss the game against Syrianska FC.
The match against Hammarby is a derby and Olunga will be looking to impress the home crowd on his first appearance.
According to fotbolldirekt, all of the papers have been provided and the Migration Board has given the go-ahead for him to feature for Djurgaden.
Olunga is one of five strikers named for the game alongside Sebastian Andersson, Amadou Jawo, Sam Johnson and Tino Kade Were
