Sofapaka goalkeeper and Kenyan international David Okello is braced for the end of his three year deal with the 2009 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions and is inviting prospective teams for talks.
The keeper has grown at the team to become the first choice but with the club deep in turmoil, he may want to take the advantage and leave while he is in top form.
He confirmed his deal expires in December 2015, after the current season and though he admits not to have spoken with other teams, he believes there could be talks in the near future.
“In December I will be a free agent so I am ready to listen to offers from other clubs over a possible move. I have not held any talks with any other team so far but I am hopeful that there will be something on that front in the near future. At the moment I am focused on helping my team end the season well,” he said.
The keeper is among the players called up for national team duty ahead of the coming World Cup qualifiers and the CECAFA Senior Challenge.
