Kanu, Beckham, others celebrate Leicester triumph

Super Eagles and Arsenal legend Kanu Nwankwo has joined millions of  prominent names to commend Leicester City following their emergence as the new Champions of England.

Leicester City became champions of the 2015/16 EPL season following the inability of their closest rivals Tottenham Hotspur to secure maximum points against Chelsea in Monday’s 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Britain’s Prime Minister David Cameron reacted to the Foxes’ feat as thus:

Kanu who who spent five years at Arsenal before having spells at West Brom and Portsmouth, winning the FA Cup in 2003 and the Premier League title in 2004 with Arsenal took to twitter to congratulate the Foxes on their league title triumph.
