It took 110-minutes before Juventus were able to break a resolute AC Milan defence in the final of the 2016 Coppa Italia.
Juventus, still smiling from winning a 32nd Serie A title, however didn’t find it easy against a very determined AC Milan side as the game failed to produce a goal in normal time, stretching into extra time.
The Serie A champions started brightly even though Milan also tried to assert themselves in the game with both clubs creating chances to see the game off.
Milan showed improved form in this game, despite finishing some way off Juventus who won the Scudetto once again this season.
And just when it seemed the game would proceed into penalties, Alvaro Morata scored to give Juve an 11th Coppa Italia title, making them double winners for the season.
