Clifford Alwanga starred for Tusker FC as the ten – time Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions returned to winning ways on Saturday 6 August at the Moi International Sports Center (MISC) Kasarani and after registering a fine partnership with Allan Wanga upfront, he is looking forward to much more.
Alwanga has had little playtime at the Brewers but after getting a start in the match against Mathare United, partnering upfront with Allan Wanga, both forwards got on the score sheet, with Alwanga assisting Wanga’s goal as the two coordinated well in the clash.
Alwanga says after the fine show, he’d want to play more with Wanga upfront and wants to work harder and score at least seven more goals.
“I really enjoyed the partnership with Wanga and I think the early goal helped me settle well in the game. Wanga and I have a good coordination and partnership and I hope for more matches together.
“He has been on a good form and is a great player and I believe partnering with him can help me reach my targets for the season. I am targeting seven more goals at the least,” he said.
