Reigning Nigeria League champions, Enyimba International are going for broke against Etoile du Sahel as they target a spot in the group phase of CAF Champions League.
Though the Nigeria flag bearers have a 3-0 lead from the first leg, they are fully aware that the game is not yet over especially as their opponent have resorted to underhand tactics to frustrate them and turn the table against them.
Already, Enyimba skipper Chinedu Udoji has gone spiritual as the Peoples Elephant battle for one of the slots in the group phase of the CAF Champions League later tonight.
Enyimba have had it all but easy since landing in Sousse for the crucial second leg clash and the Nigeria flag bearers will need more than just the right attitude on the pitch to progress a development that has seen Udoji seek help from above to help his team progress in the continent’s biggest club competition.
“It doesn’t matter who speaks, when the Lord has spoken……………Every other speaker becomes a noise maker. Lord speak today for us,” the Enyimba skipper wrote on his facebook account on Wednesday morning.
Kickoff for the Etoile, Enyimba clash is 7.pm Nigeria time on Wednesday.
