The Tanzanian Football Federation (TFF) has released a 28 – man squad to start preparations for the 2018 World Cup qualifying match against Algeria on Saturday 14 November.
Six new players will be joining the team after missing the game against Malawi in the first round. These are Salim Mbonde, Jonas Mkude, Salum Sureboy Abubakar, Elias Maguri, Ramadhani Kessy and Malimi Busungu.
The squad mainly comprises of locally based players with only three foreign based stars included. TP Mazembe duo of Thomas Ulimwengu and Mbwana Samatta as well as Mrisho Ngassa who plies his trade in South Africa with Free State Stars are the only players who play outside Tanzania.
The team will set a ten day camp in Oman ahead of the game.
