Nigerian striker Osaze Odemwingie is happy with his winning debut at his new club, Bristol City having featured in Saturday’s away win over Fulham.
Odemwingie who completed a loan move from away from the Britannia to Bristol City on Friday was in action barely 24 hours later in the Championship game away to Fulham.
Though the 34-year old forward did not score on his debut; his contributions when he came on as a second half substitute was hugely felt as Bristol City secured a last-gasp away victory.
Bristol City were actually trailing 1-0 when the Nigerian striker came in.
Quite excited about how things panned out, Odemwingie was on twitter to share his views and he wrote this on his handle @OdemwingieP: “First day at the club and first game is a win away from Bristol. Two quality goals ⚽️⚽️ got us 3 very important points. 4000 away fans “
With Stoke City already announcing that there is no coming back for Odemwingie as his contract expires at the end of the season, the player may just be warming up for an extended stay at Bristol if he continues to impress like he did in his debut outing
