Premier league side Stoke City are keen on the services of Ghana sensation David Accam following a successful trial with the club.
The 25-year-old Chicago Fire forward emerged the top scorer for the team in MLS with 10 goals in 24 league games – a remarkable debut season that earned him strong interest from the Potters.
Stoke may have problems securing the transfer of Accam but manager Mark Hughes is behind the club’s push to secure the Ghanaians services. He is confident that the player who can play as a winger or striker will help their push for a European spot in the second half of the season after an impressive start to the 2015/16 season.
On Boxing Day, the Potters eased to a 2-0 win over Manchester United courtesy goals from former Barcelona forward Bojan Krkic and Marko Arnautovic as the Britannia erupted into wide frenzy.
Stoke City who are currently 11th on the log face a tricky trip to Goodison Park to play Everton on Monday in their next premier league fixture.
