Amakhosi football manager Bobby Motaung has hit back at claims that his club treated outgoing players unfairly.
Chiefs released nine players on Tuesday, and six more were placed on the transfer list. The South African Football Players Union (Safpu) announced they would challenge Chiefs decision.
Now Motaung is defending their dealings.
“No player can say they were not consulted,” Motaung told The Sowetan.
“Some players signed settlement agreements, others have termination letters,” he added.
Siboniso Gaxa was the most high profile case, where he believed he should still be contracted to Chiefs.
