Nigerian forward, Jude Nworuh has opened his goal scoring account in Israel after scoring for his team Bnei Yehuda in their 2-1 win over Hapoel Kfar Saba over the weekend.
Nworuh netted the curtain raiser in the league duel as he found the back of the net after just six minutes of action at the Bloomfield Stadium (Tel-Aviv-Yāfā (Tel-Aviv)).
Expectedly, the fleet-footed forward was happy with his maiden goal and he was on Instagram to voice his excitement.
He wrote: Great fight guys and am happy to finally scored my first goal today..Yalla bnei yehuda💪💪👊👊
Sunday’s outing was only the second league game for Nworuh who arrived as free agent from Denmark where he last played AC Horsens.
With the bright start already recorded, many expect that Nworuh 26, will add more to his goals tally even as Bnei Yehuda will be targeting a respectable finish at the end of the season.
Currently, the Capital-based club are sixth on the log with 13 points from 9 games.
Next stop for Nworuh and his teammates is a tricky away clash to Bnei Sakhnin on Sunday.
