Former Harambee Stars skipper Dennis Oliech, will be undertaking a sponsored coaching course in South Africa, ran by KNVB, with the sponsorship of betting company, Betway, which recently named him its brand ambassador.
In an announcement on its official website, betway.co.ke, the company noted that it will be sponsoring the former Kenyan international for the course to help build his coaching skills in preparation for a coaching career.
The course is scheduled to last for one week at the World Coaches KNVB Workshop.
“BETWAY are looking to give our brand ambassador for Betway Kenya, Dennis Oliech, and the groundwork for a future in coaching, social development, technical skills, age training and the organizational skills necessary to run football tournaments.
“Oliech will be undergoing a week of training at the famed SA World Coaches KNVB Workshop. The aim is to equip him with the essential skills a football coach will need, that will enable him to take these skills back to Kenya to better improve his hometown and Kenyan football as a whole,” the statement noted.
