Kenyan international Bernard Mangoli is the latest player to decamp from the troubled AFC Leopards den and will be plying his trade for Mombasa based side Bandari FC for the next 24 months.
Mangoli signed a two year deal with the Dockers upon the expiry of his contract at AFC Leopards at the end of the 2015 season, ending speculation that he will be heading to newly promoted side Posta Rangers.
Speaking after signing the deal, Mangoli admitted it will be great linking up with the team in training and lauded his fellow players for a warm reception accorded to him on arrival.
“I’m really pleased to have signed my contract with the club,” said Mangoli. “It’s going to be great to work with Kingatua, Kimani and everyone has welcomed me really well,” he added.
The Bandari Communications Officer Ernest Mbalanya termed it a honor to sign Mangoli at the team.
“It’s an honor to welcome Mangoli to Bandari. The arrival will be very beneficial in every aspect,” Mbalanya said.
