South Africa international defender Anele Ngcongca was on-loan at French club Troyes last season.

His agent Mike Makaab has admitted that the full back could move to another French club or even to a big PSL club.

The problem is that Troyes got relegated from Ligue 1, and he’s now back at Genk in Belgium, where he doesn’t have a good relationship with coach, Peter Maes.

“You know, when I say he doesn’t see eye-to-eye with the coach. There will always come a time in a player’s career where a coach thinks differently,” Makaab told

“He handles his players differently. So yes, we are intending to try and make move for him, but he is a professional and he is back at training. He is contracted to Genk and we have to respect that as well,” Makaab said.

Makaab then admits the possibility of moving back to South Africa.

“We would never write that off. It all depends very much on a number of things. What sort of financial security plan can a PSL team guarantee him over the next two to three years and how serious are they about him playing an important role in their set-up,” he stressed.

“I think those are the important questions that we have to ask and that we have to have the right answers for,” he added.

Then there’s the possibility of going back to Ligue 1.

“There’s already interest (in him) brewing in France. There will always be interest in Anele, but it has to be the right move for him. We are not going to accept anything that comes our way.

“We have to take care of Anele and while we also have to make sure that we make our relationship with Genk (work). Anele is our client. So we have to do the best we possibly can for him,” Makaab concluded to Goal.
