Ghanaian footballer Daniel Opare is suffering with a string of issues, lately he arrived late for training because he didn’t hear his alarm.
He’s also been troubled with injuries this season and could’ve restored his importance to the Bundesliga side, but the controversy over his excuse resulted in the 25-year-old training alone.
Augsburg manager Markus Weinzierl hasn’t forgiven Opare yet, but is open to finding a solution.
The former Porto player has since apologized and hopes to get back in the team.
“We are currently working on a solution to the problem relating to Daniel Opare,” Augsburg media spokesman Dominik Schmitz told the BBC.
With right-back Paul Verhaegh injured in the past month Opare had an ideal opportunity to stake his claim. Now his Ghana position is also under threat.
Much was expected from Opara after he won the Fifa U-20 World Cup with Ghana in 2009, and represented the senior team at Brazil 2014.
