Despite struggling to break into the Bucs first team regularly in the past, Fatau Dauda has expressed his desire to return to the PSL club.

At the time Dauda couldn’t make the team because Senzo Meyiwa was in great form for club and country. Since Meyiwa passed away, Pirates have had a number of keepers and Brighton Mhlongo has done well recently.

Dauda is confident that he can displace the new stoppers.

“I will be glad to move back to Orlando Pirates. It is a club I admire aside AshGold. The fans love me and I love them too,” Dauda told Ghana Soccernet.

“I am happy the fans want me back but that depends on the management. If the fans want me and the management accepts their call, I ‘ll always love to go back,” he added.
