AS Vita forward Bernard Morrison who helped knockout Mamelodi Sundowns from the Caf Champions League, before they were disqualified, is now a Pirates player.
The Ghanaian looks back at the transfer on a personal level.
“Very sad moment. It’s time to say goodbye to the people of DRC,” Morrison said on his way from the airport to South Africa on his Facebook page.
“Thanks a lot for the love and care shown to me throughout my stay in Kinshasa.
“I appreciate it all and will forever be grateful to you. Long live Vita, long live DRC.”
Morrison has signed a five-year contract with the Buccaneers.
