Manchester United failed to win in their fourth consecutive premier league match as they were beaten by Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium this evening.
The home side started the game on a very good note as Junior Stanislas scored directed from a corner inside the first two minutes.
The game immediately opened up and Anthony Martial nearly equalized when he received a mistimed pass from a Bournemouth defender but he failed to convert from the edge of the box.
However, it wasn’t long for before Louis van Gaal’s men restored parity as Marouane Fellaini bungled the ball over the line after Artur Boruc had initially made a save from the Belgium midfielder.
The home side started the second half better and made it count former Manchester United trainee Joshua King scored to make it 2-1 before making way for Glenn Murray due to injury. Murray nearly made it three after he expertly beat Paddy McNair but missed target with only David de Gea to beat.
Bournemouth have now beaten both Manchester United and Chelsea in consecutive weeks in the premier league for the first time in their history which now takes them to 14th on the log with 16 points.
