Tanzanian referees have been selected to run the first leg of the CAF Champions League clash pitting Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Gor Mahia against their Madagascan counterparts CNAPS will be officiated by Tanzanian referees.
Ali Nassor will serve as the center referee, assisted by Ferdinand Chacha and John Kanyenye
The match has been scheduled for Saturday 13th February and as confirmed by the Gor Mahia Assistant Secretary General who has also stated the game will be at the Nyayo National Stadium.
“For our first Champions League match at home against CNaPS which will be played at Nyayo on the 13th of February, Tanzanian referees will be the ones guiding the it. Ali Nassoro will be the main man and he will be assisted by Ferdinand Chacha and John Kanyenye. The away match officials will be from Seychelles,” Ngala is quoted to have told the official Gor Mahia website.
Meanwhile, Kenyan referees Andrew Juma, Gilbert Cheruiyot, Tony Kidiya and Sylvester Kirwa have been selected to run the CAF Confederations Cup clash pitting South Sudanese side Atlabara against Rwandan side Police FC on Saturday 13th February.
