Ovye heads to the Middle-East for fresh challenge

Nigerian defender Ovye Monday Shedrack has officially completed a move to the Middle-East where he has put pen to paper for Kuwaiti Premier League team, Al-Arabi SC.

Formerly making waves in Moldova where he spent four years with  Milsami Orhei, Ovye was signed by the Middle-East giants to help them improve on their fifth place finish in the League last season.

The towering Nigerian defender will be be coming with a lot of experience having stared in the Champions League and Europa League qualifiers for his former club.

” I can confirm to you that I have ended my spell at Moldovan side Milsami and I’m now a player of Al Arabi” Ovye  told Nigeria football portal from Kuwait.

“Negotiations were completed late yesterday and I put pen to paper on a deal last night (Monday).” the 23-year-old who was a free agent prior to agreeing terms with Al-Arabi SC added.

Ovye also told that he would be joining his teammates in pre-season camp in Istanbul by the end of July to begin preparations his integration into the team.

“I can’t wait to get down to action, I will first be going back to Moldova before rejoining my new teammates by July 30th for preseason in Turkey” The new Al-Arabi SC defender who won the Moldova Premier League title with Milsami in the 2014/15 season concluded.
