Mourinho linked with Ghana star for United

After making an Ivorian , Eric Baily his first signing at Manchester United, Coach Jose Mourinho has again be linked with another African player, this time Ghana international Afriyie Acquah.

Presently with Serie A side, Torino, the 24-year-old has established himself as a key part of the Granata, making 31 appearances in all competitions last season while scoring three goals and assisting in five.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Acquah could be signed for a relatively small figure of around £11m and Mourinho seems ready to sanction the move as he continues his drive to improve United’s physical qualities and is adding through the spine of the team..

With as much as 18 caps to his name for the Black Stars, Acquah, who has spent time on loan at Sampdoria and Parma featured for Ghana at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
