The Nigerian Football Federation has revealed that they will offset all outstanding salaries owed their caches before the end of the month 366football.com can report.

The NFF through their Head of media Ademola Olajire admitted that the NFF are yet to pay their coaches’ salaries since September but was quick to assure that their outstanding will be cleared before the end of the month.

Olajire revealed that the regularization of accounts was the reason for the delay in payments.

“Yes we are owing the coaches but I can tell you here that it will be sorted out before the end of the month,”

“No employer likes to owe his employee but I’m surprised that this is an issue. We have a good understanding with our coaches that when we pay them the want it to be discrete because of the public knowledge but when if from us they all call the media for conferences.

“But I hope when they receive their outstanding they inform the media about it,” he said on the program.

Meanwhile the NFF’s Secretary General Mohammed Sanusi has paid the Dream Team VI the Naira equivalent of $8,000-a-man for their participation in the on-going CAF U-23 Championship in Senegal.

For the semi-final win over hosts Senegal and the opening-day win over Mali, the sum of $4,000-a-man was paid to the players while the draws with Egypt and Algeria $1,000 was paid.

And the NFF has assured that they will receive the Naira equivalent of $4,000 should they beat Algeria later tonight in Dakar to emerge U23 AFCON champions but will not get a dime if they lose the final.
