2018 WCQ: Nigerian refs set for duty in Abidjan

Two foremost Nigerian international FIFA badged referees, Abel Baba (r) and Ferdinand Anietie Udoh have traveled to Abidjan as part of the combined match officials schedule to handle this weekend’s Russia 2018 World Cup qualifier between the Elephants of Cote d voire and Eagles of Mali.

The other two officials for the crunch clash are from Botswana.

It would be recalled that Abel Baba of the Kogi State Referees Council was among the top class of FIFA referees invited by the Confederation of African, CAF, for the Continent’s FIFA Elite Class A Course in Egypt which ended last weekend.

The Nigeria Referees Association, NRA, under the able leadership of Tade Azeez have employed the duo to be the country’s ambassadors in good light.

The NRA boss also wished the duo a fruitful and successful outing
