While the choice of Mali looks plausible especially as they ranked higher in 65th-two places above Nigeria in the monthly FIFA rankings, same cannot be said of Luxembourg way down the ladder in the 145th place in the world.
It is for now not sure who will be in charge of the Eagles for the upcoming games as interim handler, Samson Siasia has since returned to his Olympic team after seeing out his the two-match mandate.
Their is a possibility that a foreign coach may have been named to stir the Eagles through the upcoming friendly matches and then the World Cup qualifiers proper.
