While their rivals fought in the Soweto Derby, Mamelodi Sundowns went about their business of leading the PSL table on Saturday night.
They took on Maritzburg United at Lucas Moripe Stadium, and got the game going after just nine minutes. Themba Zwane picked up Teko Modise’s to give them the lead.
Then Tebogo Langerman scored the second after 66 minutes. He made the difference with his speed down the left, the assist came from Teko Modise, then Langerman hit passed Ryan de Jongh in the corner of the goal.
Ramahlwe Mphahlele also made the wide positions count, his on the right as he then crossed for Surprise Moriri who controlled well, before slotting it into the goal for 3-0.
