Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side Western Stima has signed seven new players ahead of the 2016 season as the Kakamega based side looks to bolster its ranks for the new season.
The club’s chairman Laban Jobita has confirmed signing Ugandan midfielder Luis Silva Ochaya whio joins from Thailand, Palos midfield duo of Bernard Ochieng and Kennedy Mugambi, Francis ocholla from Shabana and Brian Arasa from West Kenya Sugar FC.
Valen Mahero will also be joining despite earlier reports that he had signed for Sony Sugar from Nzoia United while Billy Omondi will be rejoining the team from Nakuru AllStars where he spent 2015 on loan.
The club missed out on a top half finish in the 2015 season and Jobita will be looking to rejig the team for the coming season.
He further revealed that they will sign three more players, two being goalkeepers before officially wrapping up their transfer dealings.
