KCB’s relegation woes were deepened by the Saturday loss to Ulinzi Stars as the Bankers went 0 – 2 down to the Soldiers in the league match at the Nairobi City Stadium and now head coach Rishadi9 Shedu has admitted that their fate is no longer in their hands.
The Bankers have had a torrid season and it got worse with the Saturday loss as it came on a day City Stars won to rise from the relegation zone and Shedu can only hope for better fortunes on the final day when he leads the team against Western Stima.
“We are down but not out yet though I have to admit that the race is murkier for us at the moment and it is complicated by the fact that our fate is no longer in our hands now. We played well but let a few mistakes seal our fate. All we have now is hope that results on the final day will favour us.
“We play Western Stima in the final game and we will prepare well for the game; we hope to have our best men out there and get this very important result with the hope that other results will be good for us,” he said in his post match comments.
