A total of seven players will be suspended for the final weekend of the Kenyan Premier League. Four of those will be due to red card offences while three have accumulated five yellow cards.
Thika United will be the hardest hit of all the teams that will miss their players; the team has two players suspended – goalkeeper Hamuza Muwonge and midfielder Jackson Macharia.
While the latter has accumulated five yellow cards, Muwonge is on a one game suspension after being red carded in the 0-1 loss to Chemelil Sugar.
City Stars will be without Bruno Sserunkuma who has accumulated five yellow cards. Muhoroni Youth will be without Ghanaian striker Zakary Taofiq as they line up against Gor Mahia.
Taofiq who initially came to Kenya to join Gor was sent off in their last match against AFC Leopards in Kisumu after a clash with Lucas Indeche who is also suspended after getting a red card in the game.
Ushuru FC will miss the services of defenders Joseph Shikokoti (red card) and Rogers Omondi (five yellow cards).
