With the 2016/17 Serie A season decided, we take a look at how the games from the final weekend went down.
On the table, Napoli and Roma complete the Champions League spots for next season, along with champions Juventus.
Inter and Fiorentina complete the Europa League places from the league table as they finished fourth and fifth respectively.
Sassuolo, Ac Milan, Lazio, Chievo and Empoli make up the top 10, while Carpi, Frosinone and Verona all return to Serie B.
On the final day of the season, Empoli defeated Torino 2-1, Chievo and Bologna played out a goalless draw.
Genoa lost 1-2 at home to Atalanta, while Lazio were beaten 4-2 at home by Fiorentina. Palermo defeated Verona 3-2, while Carpi’s 2-1 win at Udinese couldn’t save them.
Roma were 3-1 winners at AC Milan, Juventus whitewashed Sampdoria 5-0. Sassuolo beat Inter 3-1 and Napoli were 4-0 winners over Frosinone.
Juventus finished with 91 points, while Napoli and Roma, their closest rivals had 82 and 80 points respectively.
At the bottom, Verona could only get 28 points all season, while the other relegated sides, Frosinone and Carpi had 31 and 38 points respectively.
