Real Madrid are reportedly set to renew the contracts of five players this summer, according to AS.
The European champions are working on a new deal for Cristiano Ronaldo, but the Portuguese is not the only player who could put pen to paper before the start of next season.
Real are looking to extend Gareth Bale’s current deal, which expires in 2019, by a further two years.
Forward Jese Rodriguez is out of contract in June 2017 and Madrid do not want him to leave on a free transfer next year. As such, if coach Zinedine Zidane wants him to stay, Real will offer him a new contract. If not, the club could look to transfer him away over the next couple of months.
Veteran defender Pepe, 33, is also set to enter the last year of his contract, but the club are expected to wait a while longer before offering him fresh terms.
Spanish playmaker Isco is also in line for a new deal, and he has previously expressed his desire to stay at the Bernabeu, despite his failure to nail down a regular first-team role.
