Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has signed a new £25,000-a-week contract to extend his deal at Old Trafford until June 2020, with the option for an additional season.
Rashford who has enjoyed a breakthrough season with the Red Devils scoring eight goals from 18 appearances in all competitions and in contention for a place in the England squad for the Euro 2016.
His previous deal was due to expire at the end of the 2016-17 season but the new contract has left the 18-year-old delighted.
“I am delighted to have signed a new contract. I have always been a Manchester United fan, so to be playing in the first team really is a dream come true,” Rashford commented on his new deal.
“I am grateful for having the chance to prove myself. To be able to play football at the biggest club in the world means everything to me and my family.”
Rashford made his official first-team debut in the 5-1 Europa League win over Midtjylland back in February, scoring twice.
