Claudio Ranieri has revealed that his players at Leicester City now believes that they can win the premier league after they extended their lead ontop of the log by five points with a hard fought 1-0 win over Norwich City.
The Foxes who lost to Arsenal in their last premier league fixture were far from their best at the King Power Stadium against 17th-placed Norwich but a late Leonardo Ulloa goal in the 89th minute earned them the three points.
“The conclusion I have drawn from this is that my players believe until the end,” Ranieri told BBC Sport. “That, for me, is very important. If the other teams start to win, they can win all the matches. But for us, the next match is always the final match. That is our mentality.
“I was so worried about this match, because after two weeks, your players can lose their tempo, but now I am very relaxed, and now I start to think about the West Brom match. It is a derby and a very, very, very tough match.”
Leicester title rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal who play tomorrow against Swansea City and Manchester United respectively while Manchester City will be involved in the Capital One Cup against Liverpool.
