Leicester City Manager Claudio Ranieri has played down reports that he may make a move for his countryman Francesco Totti, whose contract at AS Roma is drawing to an end.
Totti will be out of a deal at the end of the current season and while there has been no contract extension talk with Roma, the Leicester City head feels Totti cannot leave Roma.

“Could Totti come to Leicester? It’s just speculation. Totti is Roma, and Roma are Totti. And Totti is, and will continue to be, very useful to Roma.” Ranieri said.
The 39-year-old, the oldest player ever to score in the Champions League, has spent his whole career at Roma but one more run in the competition with Leicester, who are gunning for the league title, could tempt him.
