Unlike his Tusker counterpart, Western Stima head coach Henry Omino was happy with the point his team picked in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) clash against Tusker on Saturday at the Machakos Stadium.
Stima rose from a goal down in the game and Omino is happy with the response his charges gave to pick a point and coming from a loss heading to the match, he believes it was a positive result.
“We really wanted a win that would have lifted us to third place but it never came to be though I am happy with the response my players gave after we went down.
“We spoke on our errors in the changing room at half time and it worked for us in the second half so to me a draw is not a bad result; I think it is fair to both teams.
“It is an important point for us because when you look at the log only three points separate number six to 12; if you lose there is a very big change,” he said.
