According to Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola there is no deal in place to take the Juventus midfielder to Manchester United contrary to widespread speculations that it is a done deal.
The 23-year-old was reported to be on the verge of completing a world record transfer worth £105million after agreeing personal terms of £280,000-a-week.
However, his agent who also represents Manchester United new boys Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan dismissed the notion that the Juventus midfielder is about to become Jose Mourinho’s fourth signing.
“There is no deal done regarding Paul Pogba, lots of bla bla bla,” Raiola tweeted.
Mourinho who is currently with the team in tour of China refused to confirm if the deal is on, he said: “I don’t confirm and I don’t deny. I cannot tell you. I don’t think it is correct to speak about players of other clubs.
“My directors did a fantastic work to do 75 per cent of the job I ask them to do. I gave them a few options. We have just 25 per cent to do until 31 August.
“We are in great conditions to have a great market. We are calm.
“We have three faces to fill the profile. I am confident Mr Woodward will get the player we need to get a good balance.”
