Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has had his house burgled by men of the underworld.
According to Gazzetta World, the dastard act occurred while Pogba was in Milan for the Bianconeri’s Serie A match against Inter.
The 22-year-old was targeted by opportunistic thieves who knew that he would be away from his residence and it is believed that the break in occurred during Sunday night’s game against the Nerazzurri.
Thieves entered his apartment in the Santa Rita area in the south-west of Turin by breaking a window and left with a number of valuables.
Among the items that were confirmed as being stolen were precious gold jewellery and a host of expensive designer clothes.
Pogba discovered the break-in upon his return home on Monday morning after the team arrived back in Piedmont.
It was gathered that the French star was left horrified as he found his apartment had been turned upside down by the burglars.
Police have carried out their first surveys of the apartment and are currently in the process of opening the investigation to find those responsible.
