France international Paul Pogba believes that Juventus have found a way to deal with Bayern following their 2-2 draw in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League played yesterday.
The Bianconeri fell 2-0 behind to the visitor’s courtesy goals from Thomas Muller and Arjen Robben but Massimiliano Allegri’s men fought back with two goals from Paulo Dybala and former Bavarian star Stefano Sturaro.
However, Pogba was “disappointed” that the Old Lady did not win the game in the end but he believes that they have gained some valuable experience to take into the second leg.
“We’re a bit disappointed because obviously we wanted to win the first game, but we will take that [draw] and think about the next game,” he told BT Sport.
“I think we did very well in the second half and we know now how to make things difficult for Bayern, so we’re going to play on this and think about the next game so we can do [well].”
Juventus travel to Germany for the second leg at the Allianz Arena on March 16 and a 1-0 win can see them through to the quarter finals.
