Mohammed Babaganaru, head Coach of Kano Pillars is hopeful of signing hot-shot Chisom Chikatara after the player verbally agreed to join the former league champions before leaving for the CHAN tournament in Rwanda.
The Abia Warriors speed star has racked up 4 goals to go top of the goal scorers’ chart in Kigali which included a second half hat-trick against Niger in the first game.
Speaking with footballlive.ng, Babaganaru said: ‘Chikatara is doing well in the National team and I am quite aware that several teams will be after his services.
‘We had a verbal agreement with him and I hope that he intends to keep to his words and join Pillars. I will ensure we do everything to bring him to Kano; we have a huge offer on the table for him.’
Kano Pillars are not the only team interested in the services of the self acclaimed Real Madrid fan as Esperance, Wydad Casablanca, and a host of European clubs are after the services of the player.
